I'd visited the coast for years before I ever thought about staying. What finally brought me here wasn't a plan — it was the pace, a slower rhythm to everyday life I kept noticing on every trip, until one year I simply didn't go home.
A few years in, I saw the other side of that same appeal: so many people want to live here — mostly from Northern Europe, the US, and remote workers — that there's room for people to take advantage of buyers who don't know the area yet.
